The man is a miracle worker.

I do not even have the words to explain how excited I am right now.
12 years ago my friends took me to get a tattoo for my birthday. What I ended up with was not a good tattoo. I went back and they re did it to try to fix it. It still was not good and I was not happy. The owner of the shop offered to cover it up with another tat for free the only catch being that it would have to be larger than the first one (obviously).
People.
The only way I can describe my tattoo is to tell what was said every time someone new saw it.....
"Ahhh. a cover up, huh?"
Every time.
I was told that what I had was as good as it was ever gonna get because you have to cover black ink with black ink. Makes sense, right? So I resigned myself to the fact that I was going to have to live with shit forever or start saving up for laser removal.
Until!
I went with some friends while they got a tattoo at a new shop. I got to talking to the owner about my leg and he said "What?! that's crazy bullshit, I could fix that right up. No problem."
Here's the before picture (just remember, it actually looked worse. I took this pic after he had already started redoing the outline)

The original tat was under the black rose. And see the belly and ears of the dragon? see how they're skin color? at one point they were orange.
Here's the after.

It was worth all 3 & 1/2 hours.
And again next to each other.

ouch. I just don't understand the tattoo thing. But if you are happy and excited, I'm happy for you. ;-) I'm scratching my head, but happy.
Hi carrie! I'm over the tattoo phase but I'm excited to have the one I do have not look like shit anymore :).
